Threads of hope

Chapter 1 Birth, work, death, repeat— a mantra etched in life’s relentless flow. Each cycle tightens, like a python’s grip, Draining warmth from weary, gasping lungs. No wonder some seek a softer path; “When life gets tough, the tough get going.” Yet joy fractures, like glass under pressure— Wrist poised to sever the delicate thread of hope, Bathing in crimson, a final surrender. Some find solace in fleeting dreams, A flicker of light amid the shadows, While others wrestle with unseen demons, Lost in a labyrinth of despair. Like a brittle branch, it snaps with a shattering crack. In the darkest hours, The weight becomes unbearable, The serpent swallows whole, Marked as a coward’s death, a whispered release, Forgetting that battles rage within, As vivid as the heartbeat echoing in the night. But why call it a coward’s retreat When the final breath feels like freedom? For every soul that falters, There’s one who fights back, Clinging to threads of hope, Searching for a spark, a fleeting clarity, Even in the depths of despair. In this dance of dark and light, Where shadows whisper and courage ignites, We navigate chaos, hearts ablaze, Searching for peace—a fragile moment, A flicker in the storm, Where hope and surrender entwine, A breath of resolve, The promise of a new dawn, Where shadows yield to the morning sun.
